I'm a big fan of saving money and supporting local business, I like that I can do both with this card and have a feel good warm and fuzzy moment after… What I like most about this initiative is it involves the whole city, there's no clique, and it really provides an incentive to invest in your local community. I love my city and I love deals, green deals are even better, so this totally works for me. Glad the City is doing something like this. They also have great tips on how to green your neighbourhood and there is a volunteer program to get involved! Yay Toronto! Does your city have something like this?”
Okay, so we all have milestones that we aspire to reach. For me, becoming a member of my favourite membership card program Live Green Toronto, was one of those… They are such lovely people and were very patient as I worked out some glitches with this site. An overall wonderful and exciting experience so far, and I've only just begun with them! If you have a green business, you might want to hook up. Or, if you live in Toronto, you'll want a membership card because you get all kinds of discounts as well as information about green businesses that you may never have known existed. Pretty fabulous.”
